I did a check, heavens is using elements with an epoch of 02274.75542248. Here's some of the orbital elements for the iss and progress. These have the same epoch. I ran it through satellite tool kit ( STK ). It says the following Time (UTCG) 2 Oct 2002 11:19:40.00 Radial (km) 0.00000 In-Track (km) 0.00000 Cross-Track (km) 0.00000 Range (km) 0.000000 That was using the following elements ISS (ZARYA) 1 25544U 98067A 02275.47199074 .00055222 00000-0 64944-3 0 2110 2 25544 51.6352 234.2875 0017116 326.2129 174.3876 15.60703815220765 PROGRESS M1-9 1 27531U 02045A 02275.47199074 .00055222 00000-0 64944-3 0 320 2 27531 51.6352 234.2875 0017116 326.2129 174.3876 15.60703815 1063 Using the newest elements I could get off the oig ISS (ZARYA) 1 25544U 98067A 02276.73972601 .00049870 00000-0 58452-3 0 2158 2 25544 51.6351 227.9020 0017306 330.3959 98.0661 15.60831165220969 PROGRESS M1-9 1 27531U 02045A 02276.73972601 .00049870 00000-0 58452-3 0 335 2 27531 51.6351 227.9020 0017306 330.3959 98.0661 15.60831165 1267 STK gives Time (UTCG) 3 Oct 2002 17:45:12.33 Radial (km) 0.00000 In-Track (km) 0.00000 Cross-Track (km) 0.000000 Range (km) 0.00000000 So instead of seperate orbital elements, they have the same elements. If I am correct, the mir space station had that problem with different elements for different parts. I have to see what I get with the different modules of the iss. That's if they show up on the oig, I can't remember. You only need to use the ISS (ZARYA) orbital elements, since all the modules solar panels and anything else are just joined together.
