I would like to make it clear that the main threat of Hurricane Lili
is/was to Mission Control in Houston; not to the launch complex
in Florida.

If you clicked on the link in my previous message, the map clearly
shows this.

I would also like to point out that it is not unusual for strong
hurricanes to defy predictions as they approach land and continue
their present course. I would rate course change predictions near
landfall at about fifty (50) percent. The weather bureau doesn't
advertise its errors.
