I have occasionally tried the Solar Panel prediction available in IridFlar
since v2.2 June 2001, but never found any visible. Why I didn't leave it on
in all the .cfg files I use, I don't know, but now I have. Today I had three
bright ones predicted, and observed. The last two were possibly a magnitude
fainter. The last one had a good MMA flare 1.6 minutes earlier.

I also get unusually many Moon flares predicted, but the first one not
blocked by clouds, was made impossible by city+Moon light and haze - lim.mag
= +7.0, prediction +8.5, about 30 degrees from moon.
