I was looking through my 11x45 binoculars at Beta Aql, waiting for a
predicted pass of TMA-1 at 18:07 PST using Jim Nix's OIG elset of
305.81628655, when the lit-up electronic-billboard underbelly of the
Goodyear blimp, which moors in nearby Carson, consumed the entire field
of view! I barely had time to recover some night vision when TMA-1
passed by on the expected path at magnitude 4, followed by ISS at
magnitude 2 by about 30 seconds.
