Stella Speaking of PDA's, does anyone know if there is anything on the Web, or even in a book, that if you plug the values in your TLE-set, it will yield predicitions? I have a $130 calculator (more like palm-sized computer, based on what it can do). It can interface with my computer, I can download things into the calculator (to just slightly less than 100k). I could write the program. There are times when I want to see satellites, but I don't have Internet access, and sometimes not even computer access. With such a program, I would then know and be able to make a prediction in <10 minutes. I already know how to predict the magnitude of a satellite. Besides the fact that I would find it to be a fascinating exercise, and I would gain an appreciation for the mathematics involved in getting predictions. ------------------------------ Jonathan T.
