ISS/STS92 made a nice high elevation pass. It became mag -3 and just after culmination it reached mag -4. Entering earthshadow it faded away in an orange colour and could be followed quite some time getting fainter and fainter. This was the first time I saw a satellite in the penumbra. Normally the sat just popped out entering shadow. 00- 6 B 00-10-19 18:29:51 LB 214.2 0.2 70 3.060 AA, 4->i 98- 72 C 00-10-19 17:54:53 LB 110.4 2.0 1 110 MM, 4->6 98- 76 B 00-10-19 18:24 LB S, 6 99- 25 C 00-10-19 18:20 LB S, 5 Greetings and clear, dark skies Leo Barhorst Medemblik 987 obs in 2000 52.767 N 5.09 E 2 m ASL 10923 obs in PPAS ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
