Hello, I've seen one waterdump here in Holland; I believe it was the same flight as Ted Molczan saw, STS-51 F. At first I thought it was an aircraft contrail the shuttle was passing behind. But then I saw it moved along with the shuttle. It extended from the shuttle a little bit downwards and to the back, then made a 135 degrees turn and extended more than 10 degrees in front of the shuttle. It also became wider and fainter the further away from the shuttle. Probably the waterdum occurred towards the earth and the waterparticals came in a lower orbit and travelled infront of the shuttle. It was easily seen naked eyed and a beautiful sight. greetings Leo Barhorst Medemblik ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
