One of the new Globalstar objects passed just under gamma-Bootes (300az,
23el) at 23:45:28 UTC 18 October at about a 6.0 mag. About a minute later I
noticed that 2 other object (separated by 0.2 deg) were trailing the first by
about 2 degrees. Both of the trailing object were about 6.5-7.0 mag and
were not visible for most of the pass. At 23:47:42 one of the trailing
objects flared to a +2.0 mag for a period of 17 seconds.

Other obs (Tonight's flasher report)

Iridium 85 (99-66C) put on quite the show. I observed a -4 double flash at
00:04:08.4 UTC 19 October. There were eight additional bright flashes at
irregular intervals from 00:04:13 to 00:06:31 that varied from +2.0 to -2.0.
At 00:06:50 the real show began - 9 flashes from -4 to -8 mag (Center time
00:07:11:6). The flash period of 5.38 seconds is reasonably close to Tristan
Cools' post of 17 October (5.31 secs).

Orion 3 (99-24A) did not flash until shortly before entering eclipse.
