NEW GPS PRN Number.
Hello from New Zealand,
I have recently written software to create GPS TLE's directly
from a GPS receiver. Because I have a permanent GPS (doing R&D)
on my PC Network, I can now click an icon and in a few seconds
have the latest GPS TLE ready for various tracking software.
The accuracy of this TLE (using NGS "cm" accurate positions as
reference) is better than 6 minutes of arc (1/10th degree) over
a 72 hour orbit comparison - so the TLE is useful for "visual"
locating using telescope etc.
The software may be useful to others especially without Internet
or at remote locations. I have had the software ready for
posting to a NASA site now for many weeks (it is freeware), but
I have been waiting for the 7th Oct launched satellite to become
active - so that my NORAD to PRN cross reference file can be
updated. I'm not sure how long it takes (assuming its healthy)
for it to become active.
So (I finally get around to asking my question) does anyone
know what the PRN (Pseudo Random Number) "will be" for
the following satellite - information courtesy of MIKE MCCANTS.
Internatnl Period Incli- Apogee

The PRN number should be one of the following:- 11,12,20,28,32.
