Yes, birds can be a source of quite striking and seemingly unbirdlike
you-know-what reports.  Just two days ago, in mid-day, I saw a group of
bright, apparently shiny silver objects flying above the road in the
distance. As our car drew closer, they turned out to be large white birds --
geese, I'd guess, from the way they flew.
