Has anyone else seen Meteor 2-8 (82-25A, 13113) tumbling? I didn't
find any reports in online PPAS records, but last night I looked for
it at the predicted time and place and in binoculars saw a tumbling
object with one flash and three more maxima (flash-max-max-max).
Here's a PPAS report that assumes it was this object:
82- 25 A 99-10-08 02:29:57 EC 197.8 0.3 12 16.49 Fmmm mag+4.5->inv
Only the flash was as bright as +4.5.
Location: 30.314N, 97.866W, 270m.
