1997-58D - Question

I am running now a special decay- and reentry program with INSPEKTOR (SSC
25100)as a test object with precise definited parameters - not in competition
with Alans fine prediction works. The modelthat I used was developed from our
nearly three decades continuous experience with the NORAD Spiral Decay Program,
but we are also working with programs based on a pure analytical approach (SPG 4
and NORAD TLEs) as a first approximation.
Our station (Wilhelm-Foerster-Observatory Berlin) was since the early sixties
engaged in the development and observational phase of the NORAD predictions
programs( also in loose cooperation with "Moondust"), with inputs of all
specific satellite factors and the external parameters like solar flux,
Geomagnetic index ect.
My question: Have anybody observed fluctuations in brightness - there would
relatively small- with a rough estimate of the period ?I am interested also in
observations compared to the actual elsets. My reentry prediction today for
INSPEKTOR: October 31, 1998 - 20.00 UT +/- 1 hour.

Thank you
