You're all too kind - or not reading my post :-(
In fact, this was posted late on the 9th and my statement that the Long
March rocket had "probably decayed in the past few hours, at about
October 10.81" is "inoperative". The latest elset is
Long March 2 deb 241 x 139 km
1 24930U 97048F 97282.74704866 .09273651 -80074-6 37003-3 0 1061
2 24930 86.3315 106.1432 0077704 11.2027 348.7536 16.30977293 6000
and my prediction remains almost unchanged at October 10.78.

I'm off for a cold shower...
