mir/shuttle order

Thursday night I printed out a schedule of passes for MIR, figuring
that MIR would stay in about the same orbit and the shuttle would dance
around it. Friday night I saw both of them go over together, about 20 degrees
apart. At that time I wasn't sure which was which. Saturday night, though,
I thought I knew the leading one must be MIR, because it arrived right on
schedule whereas the second object was several minutes late.
However, it now appears from the "annoyed" commentary here that the
shuttle was first. Does this mean that MIR was boosted from its previous
orbit so that it was running late compared to my Thursday predictions? Or is
the conclustion that "I must be confused"?
