Radio observation today (971004) by Geoff Perry confirm my suspicions that
Faisat
and Cosmos 2346 Rocket have had their identities incorrectly swapped.
Signals at 17:20-17:27.8 UT were received and are believed to come from Faisat.
This indicates that it is the 13.7905revs/day object. The rocket is the
13.806r/d
object as the original identites had it. Anyone with contacts at USSPACECOM
might
like to try to get them to swap the idents back.
More inspection of elements shows that 97-51D = Iridium 27 seems to be stuck in
a 15.0375revs/day orbit, which may indicate that it is not responding, as was
the case with Iridium21 (97-34E).
