STS-86 - Mir Obs, 4 Oct 97

Just finished watching this duo on the same pass as Craig is
likely to see.  STS was about a minute ahead (not timed), 
magnitude -1, Mir was around magnitude 2.5.  Rather faint.

Observed both turning red as they entered the umbra (that
is the Earth's shadow for those of you on the US west coast).

Sunday morning there should be a whopper-monster flare from
Iridium 6 near Polaris from my location.
