    They were on very close trajectories, only separated by a specific separation thrusters/pyrotechnics. 
    
    >From Brisbane, and most of eastern Australia including Canberra, the craft appeared to rise from the west, within 15 minutes peak around 60 degrees elevation near Orion then over the next 7 hours slowly set back down again to the West. This was due to the fact it was now in an escape orbit and the earth spins away from it.
