    Paul,
How cool you can see booster glint ! Never knew it.

Well all I can say is that best of luck for launch, hope you catch good healthy telemetry at Canberra.
Hope weather is GO for Launch at California and Canberra for both radio frequency and visible frequency range !
Just heard over Nasa Tv that first telemetry for Canberra will be at +6 minutes

    T-25 minutes and counting................

We've done our figures on the back on a paper plate (yes really) - we believe that it will become illuminated no later than 3:22UT at which point it will be 14,500km away. We are hoping for a glint of the booster or (like Cassini) the seeing fuel dumping.
Only one problem - we are in complete overcast at the moment (the radio telescopes are fine, but our eyes aren't)

    Paul,
Canberra right now is in shadow area and I think in 1 hours time MSL will be in transit orbit to Mars, so will it be possible
to look at spacecraft though naked eye during wee hours, I doubt ?
I have no idea about it, but if possible then Iam very much interested to know the visiblity condition over here at Gurgaon,
