    Observations 24 Nov 2010
    ------------------------------
    
    CoSatrak system.
    
    Meade DSI Pro II Monochrome CCD camera without filters.
    using integration times of 5 sec min to 25 seconds maximum
    depending on brightness of sky in particular area.No image
    processing done, but some done automatically in the auto reduction
    software.
    
    Used with 4 inch SKYWATCHER refractor- model 1025 - fitted with home
    made focal reducer to give an f/2.56 system. Image scale is 6.56 arc
    sec/pixel and field of view 84.8 x 63.2 arc minutes. Shows 15th
    magnitude stars in real time with reasonably good conditions.
    
    Exposure time to nearest second inserted into image FITS header
    from PC clock which is automatically checked every minute against
    GPS signal.
    
    Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude -33.94058 deg,
    Elevation 10 metres-situated in Pinelands (Cape Town),South Africa

    Notes:
    --------
    (1) Main purpose was to get X-37B. Due to technical "problem" only got the
        satellite at elevation less than 10 degrees just before shadow entry.
    
    (2) SBBS1 and rocket bright naked eye objects at optimum phase angle .
    
    (3) USA 129 flared to about -1 magnitude for about 10 seconds. Yesterday
        it flared even more to about - 2 magnitude or brighter.
    
    (4) Molniya 3-52 gives bright slow flashes ( flares?) to about mag 0
        - two seen seperated by about 27 seconds.
    
    (5) SUMBANDILA is a  South African "amateur" satellite constructed by nearby
        University of Stellenbosch. Easy object.
    
    (6) DEL4DEM was a rather "difficult" object. It was moving eastward at about
        the same rate as the stars were moving westward so satellite and star
        trails had almost the same length but at a very slightly different track
        angle.
    
    (7) AEHF1 rocket easy and variable.
    
    (8) Looks like "good" weather has returned - oh ****, I opened my big mouth
        and now its going to be cloudy the rest of the week!!
