Last week I sold three duplicate Space Logs to a buyer on eBay. He lives in La Jolla, just up the street, so to speak, from me in San Diego, and asked whether he could simply drive over to pick the books up. I said sure, and we agreed to meet earlier today at the Starbucks around the block from where I live. I brought his books and we had a short, pleasant conversation about space topics. I also brought along my copy of Volume 1 Number 0 for show and tell. Well, did he steal my thunder! "Oh yeah, I have one, too." Turns out his dad used to work for STL (and later TRW) and regularly brought Space Logs home for his boy, and the first obe he brought home was that issue. His dad retired in the 1980s and the Space Logs stopped; he was looknig to complete his run. So now we know the whereabouts of >>four<< copies. _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
