Up very early this morning ( 0430 gmt ) to prepare for a low elevation pass of ISS Sky was clear but thin high cloud was pressing in Venus and Nars were clear.................... http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/VENMar.jpg However as pass time appraoched the inevitable happened and the cloud /fog thickened I managed to catch our first glimpse of the new array and Harmony , but only through gaps in the cloud. The station was no where near the -3.7 predicted...in fact I would say it was -2 at best http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/satcom_transits/newP6.gif Pass time was 0552GMT Havnt checked yet but it looks like the starboard array is not rotatating , but port is ( Is is the starbaord that has been disconnected until the problems are sorted? ) John Any images attached are subject to copyright restriction but may be used with prior permission ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
