Dale one can get state vectors from the JPL horizons systen using the e-mail
    or telnet interfaces.

Bill Gray of Guide fame has set up a pseudo-MPEC for Rpsetta
    at http://home.gwi.net/~pluto/mpecs/rosetta2.htm

He used his find_orb programme to calculate helio centric orbits
    before and after close approach,
using the observations provided by catalina, spacewatch and peter
    Birtwhistle asteroid
    observers.
