Another great night. Unfortunately off to Colorado next few nights and not sure if I will see Telstar 401 from Durango, CO (any guesses?) For 11/14/05: Flash Time UT Mag Inst RA Dec Conditions 1 3:35:10 +2 1x - - Good 2 3:36:44 +2.5 10x 23:26 -13.4 Good 3 3:38:19 +2 10x 23:28 -13.3 Fair 4 3:39:54 +4 10x 23:29 -13.3 Fair 5 3:41:28 +3 10x 23:31 -13 Poor 6 missed due to passing cloud 7 3:44:38 +4 10x 23:36 -13.3 Fair 8 3:46:12 +5.5 10x 23:38 -13.3 Good 9 3:47:47 perhaps a 8m glint but unsure Please note I paid much more attention to magnitude this time than position. I was interested in the variation in flash magnitude that I had assumed would be steadily declining but I'd noticed 11/13 a "blip" in the curve where it got brighter again and then faded quickly. This was seen again tonight, and I noticed the duration of flash #8 was noticeably shorter than #7. Very interesting.
