    Hi, all--

When a catalogue number is reassigned from one international
designator to a different one, e.g., when #23481 1994-085E became
1971-120G, I presume the international designators subsequent to the
reassigned one remain as they were, and they are not all moved one
letter up. So in the aforementioned example, the 1994-085 series
simply no longer has an E member, correct? Could the vacant E
designation perhaps be applied to the next fragment to be found in the
series (which I believe would become 1994-085AB unless it's made the
    new 1994-085E)?

    Curious as usual,
    Dinogeorge
