Newcomer to SeeSat, briefly, I would like to introduce myself to
the SeeSat members. Aged 62, I have been observing sats since 1960
(60 Iota 1). Contacted by Mr Pierre Neirinck in 1962, I observed more
professionally sats up to 1966. After 30 years of obs interruption, mainly
due to my absorbing profession of navy officer, I resumed sat obs in
1996 after retirement from the navy, keeping contact again with Pierre
Neirinck. I am a traditional visual observer, from two sites in Italy
    (4541
Rome and 4641 Bari). My HW is made up of a radio controlled watch,
two Lap memory 10 CASIO stopwatches, one good binoculars VIXEN
10x50 and a very recent binoculars, not yet tested, ANTARES 15x70 .
I have SW for sats passing prediction and coordinates calculation of
observed points and ...a lot of...passion for sats. I am an observer, not
an analyst. In total, I observed more than 5000 transits . I used to be a
subscriber of [dsat] since mid 2003.
It is a privilege and I am honoured to be in the SeeSat.
