    Prepared predictions, woke in the middle of the night and saw that the promised
cold front had passed through, with plenty of stars.  Dressed and got equipment
together, and
organised stopwatch.  In the next 10 minutes the clouds gathered again, and I
only got
a sight of 76-38C through thin stratus.
