Well, I also happen to know of a "speaking clock" that is able to announce the time periodically. It's called Peter's Ultimate Alarm Clock (www.kokpeter.dds.nl/Puac/index.htm) and I actually wrote it myself. The only disadvantage is that the function that speaks the time is a bit buried in the free version. To keep the mail on-topic: I also wrote a program that converts iridflar output files to files that can be imported by the alarm clock, so you'll be warned in advance of an iridium flare. See www.kokpeter.dds.nl/Download/index.htm. It's called AIFA. Note that I don't mean to advertise my programs here, but you asked for it. -Peter > -----Original Message----- > From: JAY RESPLER [mailto:jrespler@superlink.net] > Sent: donderdag 13 november 2003 6:24 > To: SeeSat-L > Subject: Re: USA 81 - Flasher? > > > M wrote: > > There are programs like "Speaking clock" which will announce > the time each > > minute, starting the announcement more or less at the start of > each minute. > > Where do you get that program? > > Jay Respler > -- > JRespler@superlink.net > SKY VIEWS: http://mars.superlink.net/jrespler/skyviews.html > Satellite Tracker * Early Typewriter Collector > Freehold, New Jersey > > ----------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' > in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org > List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
