A few months ago I bought a used (but like-new) pair of Galileo 15x70 for $60US. It's easy to find reasonably good (Barska) 15x70's for a cost of $85US or so. I use these to complement telescopic observation because they are difficult/impossible to hold steady. An adapter for a tripod is less than $10US at Ritz Camera. Binocular mounts will cost more than the Binoculars but will make observation an order of magnitude easier. -- Cheers, Don Gardner 39.1799 N, 76.8406 W, 100m ASL http://hometown.aol.com/mir16609/ http://www.howardastro.org/ ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
