If you are on a budget, call Kevin at bigbinoculars.com after 12 noon EST. He carries a wide range of bino's in all price ranges and provides excellent customer service. I picked up 11 x 70's for @$150.00 (tripod mounted) and normally use their 12 x 60's, @$120.00. I had been using a pair of Nikon Action series 10 x 50's but when I got the 12 x 60's and did a side-by-side comparison, both pair tripod mounted, I took back the Nikons. I chose the 11 x 70's so I could use them hand-held but since the 12 x 60's work so well, now I really wish I would have gotten the 15 x 70's (same price!). If you talk to him, please mention me, Joe from Detroit Michigan, because I was so pleased with his service I promised him I would send him some customers. He lives in Ohio but used to live @5 miles from me when he was a kid so naturally we established a good old reminiscing rapport. He also carries accessories. Check him out and I hope this helps. Joe Ignaczak 42.24 83.03 with not too many clear dark skies since I am in Detroit. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
