    Hi Harro,

There was excellent amateur footage on tonite's news by
someone who observed the reentry from the Seattle, Washington
area. Dozen if not hundreds of individual pieces moving
across the early morning sky. Amazingly, the newscast
correctly identified the display as being the reentry of
a Russian booster. Wish I had seen it -- it needed to
survive a few minutes longer to make it to southern
California, but even so I expect the track would have
been too far to the east at my latitude.

    Best,
    Rob

The message from Gary Kronk about two sightings of a
fireball or reentry over Oregon around 06:15 PST confirms
my prediction a couple of hours (10:00 UTC) ago about the
possible reentry shortly after 14:13 UTC of 2002-053B
(#27558)the Proton DM-3 stage loaded with tons of fuel-
Please inform me about further observations with time
     informations.
