Was seen this morning at 0604 on time, mag +2/2.5 steady going through Leo above the moon. I expected brighter. For the 10 sec or so it was visible coming out of eclipse, it was steady, and quite red/orange. It then either went into a deep fade or a poor phase angle, as it dropped in magnitude around el 45 into the SE. Looked for the Proton stage at 0658 in a brightening sky, but just too faint to see low in the W.
