Had a possible sighting of 1K this morning from position here, just west of Liverpool UK I say possible as conditions were not good.I was clouded out for the +/- 0530 pass , but cloud had dispersed by 0700 enough to create some gaps to the south. At 070628 I caught sight of a faint object low in the south east sky moving quite quickly through the gaps. This would have put it about 5 minutes late on my keps , but the elset I'm using is probably by now out of date. The best vis opportunities were probably further east , over Europe , and I wondered if anyone else caught a glimpse? BTW Jim O has posted a note from MOSCOW AGENTSTVO VOYENNYKH NOVOSTEY (Interfax) on the FPSpace list in which the European Union satellite Centre now confirms the satellite is heading for burn-up , the recent burns serving the purpose of making re-entry a more controlled event.
