The four digit station (or site) numbers are allocated by Pierre Neirinck
and myself, often based on the latitude/longitude of the site, in order
to make it memorable for the observer. Your request for a number should
include the latitude, longitude, height above sea-level (feet or metres)
and station name e.g. Gerlach.
