I got the starmap and managed to manipulate its various options. I have also downloaded hip8.zip but I could not find Mag6.dat Can I use satbase.txt as the sattellite ephemeris file? Skymap seems to want Nasaxxx.txt as the ephemeris file.Where do I find it? It sure is a powerful program with many options and variations. Hope i manage to exploit the features it provides.
