I use QUICKSAT exclusively for LEO predictions. No other program gives as
much info in a concise output.  Anyone with questions is free to write to
me for help.
SKYMAP is good for trying to ID a UFO that may have been seen. The sky
map astronomy part is good too.  I just used it to confirm occultations
of Uranus and Neptune visible in Korea next year. 
(I had mentioned to Rob that an "animation" of something like that would
be very interesting)
I'll try to help with questions on Skymap also.

There are links to several element sources from the VSOHP site.  Kelso
(Celestrak) has the VISUAL list that I compile.  That is specifically for
naked eye satellite observers.
