My name is Roger Williams. I am a 33 year old American living and
working in Japan on Shikoku Island (133 degrees 50 minutes east
and 34 degrees 6 minutes north). The idea of observing satellites
really amazes me and it has for a long time. I live in an area =

where the sky is really clear and enjoy just going out and looking
for them at random. I have been thinking for some time that I would
like to find out when and where they are going to be there and I found
this list. I am quite baffled. I looked at the FAQ pages and some
of it is too simple while some of it needs explanation. I am =

totally fascinated, though. I do not understand the coordinate =

system very well, but I would like to learn. Can anyone suggest =

any further reading that can bring someone like me (a relatively
good study--who doesn't know much of anything in this field) up to =

par on the subject of satellite observing?

Thank you very much,

Roger
