I wish I could say the same. I think the plethora of messages on radio
signals from Sputnik-41 were highly off-topic and the culprits should be
aware that SeeSat-L is for visual satellite observing only. As John says,
there is a list for listening to satellites and it's not called SeeSat-L.
Please subscribe to Hearsat-L if you want to report/hear about
radio-stuff. Thanks John for the reminder on how to subscribe.

And I'm afraid that there are over 550 people subscribed to SeeSat-L who'd
rather not like to hear about radio-observing satellites.

On another note, SeeSat-L suffered from unknown mailer problems at its
mail-forwarder last week causing severe backlogs of messages on Friday and
Saturday. This should be a rare occurrence. Apologies for the
inconvenience it might have caused.

Another problem is that the mail-forwarder of SeeSat-L has turned up on a
list of spam-forwarding machines (check out www.dorkslayers.com/orbs for
details) and some of you won't be able to receive messages anymore. This
is because some people have tight security/anti-spam measures at their
machines causing them to reject messages from blackadder. This is
problem for my system-manager. There is not much I can do about it right
now, perhaps in a few weeks time. Until then the WWW will have to be the
way to go for those people. They probably won't receive these messages (or
any messages from me!) so please forward this messages to people you know
have been suffering from problems lately (Ed Cannon!).

Cheers,
