First off, I made a typo.  The correct name is OV 1-5, not OVI 1-5.
OV = Orbital Vehicle.  There were a serios of them launched from VAFB
in the 60's.  Not all of them were retrograde, though.

OV 1-5 was launched from VAFB March 30th 1966 on an Atlas D.  I don't
have any idea what the mission was about. Anyone?

By the way, I didn't know any of this until a few minutes ago.  I
got the info from The Satellite Encyclopedia (TSE) online edition
at http://www.tele-satellit.com/tse/online/
