Something peculiar I have noted on Nov 19th, and again tonite.
In both cases there was an earlier pass[ at lower elevations in the
 East] when I didnt see the object although in both cases :-
I knew exactly when & where to look,
There was no cloud interference.
Perhaps the object was presenting a small cross section when being
viewed from that angle.
