Finding Geosynch Satellites

There may have been a question on plotting satellite paths against
stars to aid in finding them. May I humbly suggest Rob Matson's
Skymap. It has available stars down to 10th magnitude or so.
It is what I use to find geosynchs and other high altitude objects.

It also prints those charts, including E/W mirror image for Celestron
type scopes with a diagonal. Works GREAT!
