Is a Mac version the PPAS tool of value? I have the input form done and “just” need to hook up text fields and buttons to generate the output. One discrete piece of work remaining is validating the input fields (no months > 12 or days < 1, no alphas in the date fields, only alphas, and then no more than two, in the fragment field, etc).

Refinements would be (a) remembering relevant settings from use to use (observer’s initials, which directory to put files in, mother’s maiden name [joke], etc); (b) with permission, using existing the web documentation in a help screen; (c) others.

I’m having fun doing this and if there is no desire for the product, I’ll just put it all on github and stop with no negative feelings. If it does have an audience, I’d harden and notarize the app for users’ security.
