NOTES:
--------------

(1) Testing out a 55mm focal length f/1.8 lens from an old
MINOLTA camera for use as a wide angle system for leo
satellites. However full moon is not the best time to test
any optical system so need a "dark of moon" session-
probably will only use it when looking for misplaced
brightish objects. The f/1.8 is actually too fast for my
light polluted skies and I am limited to exposures of about
4 seconds max when using 2 bin on the CCD camera in bright
moonlight. The field of view is 18.5 x 13.9 degrees and
a 4 second exposure at 2 BIN gives a star magnitude of about
magnitude 11 which translates roughly to about magnitude +7
to mag +8 for a leo satellite with camera in non-tracking mode.
Hopefully with no full moon I should be able at get at least
     a magnitude or two fainter.

Cheers
Greg
