1989-016A 19822 Akebono still flashing nicely

    For me it was 6 years ago I saw this satellite flashing.
    Brad Young reported PPAS-records in April 2010.
    Its flashing period is still close to 2.0 seconds like it was in
    the previous 15 years.
    
    With its perigee coming closer to our latitudes (North 40 - 60)
    we have an increasing chance to observe it.
