Perhaps it has not occurred to you, but if you want the many hundreds of SeeSat-L subscribers and archive readers to invest their time to consider your results, then you need to provide basic information that will facilitate doing so in an efficient manner. The recently adopted rules for reporting high-resolution ground-based satellite imagery are intended to address this need: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html#Rules I expect each message containing an observation report to directly address all eleven items in the rules. If there are multiple results from the same data set, then the items that they have in common need only be stated once. With a little organization, this need not be all that time consuming. In any case, it will save time for potentially hundreds of readers who may wish to evaluate your results. > I would forward your suggestion of informing Seesat list to link to my > website if there is new stuff available that is of interest, to the moderater, > so Ted it's up to you... If you want to report your results via SeeSat-L, then you will take the time to comply with the rules. If you prefer only to inform SeeSat-L readers of the existence of your website and/or mailing list, then I will allow one such message per month, for the benefit of our subscribers.
