Nanosail shows beautiful colors when illuminated favorably by sunlight. This image, from my session on April 24,
was from an earlier part of the pass, when the satellite was slightly faring. According to the shape in
the image we look straight on the surface. It’s not so easy to take as it may suggest, the images were
very small and you really need to select frames strongly on sharpness and seeing-quality.
Imagery: 10 inch Newtonian reflector with JVCGRDX27E videocam upgrade for satellite imaging,
eyepiece projection method with 15mm EP.
