LES 8 caught flashing brightly around 8 UTC.

I had been following a satellite in low earth orbit, when I noticed a bright flash, so I stopped moving the scope. A short time later another bright flash, then again another flash.

    I ran an ID, and got LES 8 ( 08746 )

Last time I observed it flashing bright, it took 19 seconds between flashes.  So it takes less time now :)

While looking at Italsat 2, to see how it behaves, it gave a bright flash at 3:43:48 utc. The flash was mag 8 are brighter. Then next flash I could detect was fainter. Not sure how long it takes to flash.

    Directv 2 ( 23192 ) continues to take longer to give a flash :(
