It's the first generation model, ie DSI 1.

I picked it up on sale, saving me lot of money. They where selling them off, to make way for the
    DSI 2 models.

Meade has DSI 3 models out, but ooch they are expensive, they cost over $1000.00
And that's in term's of american money.

The image my camera gives is 510 by 492 pixels, the new model ( DSI 3 ) gives images at 1360 x
1024 pixels, ie a larger image.

I had tried out the colour verion of the first model of the DSI, very bad I found.

One of these days I hope, to try out the ccd camera on, the geo sat's.

I did a tracking test the other day, with the mount. Seemed to keep a bright star, in the centre
of the feild of view. Since I would track star's, geo sat's would trail. I want to see, if I can
detect them, as a streak. I know my video camera method for observing geo sat's does:)
