I have one of them, but I have yet to try it on geostationary satellites, are any other satellites. Awhile ago, I took some test images, using a camera lens mounted on it, for a wide feild. Just wanted to see how good it was. The feild of view, is at least 4 degree across. Area of sky around vega, used in the test. 2 second capture, can see stars down to at least magnitude 8. http://www.kfetter.com/meade/2sec.jpg 8 second capture, stars down to the 10th magnitude I can spot. http://www.kfetter.com/meade/8sec.jpg Here's what the setup looked like, for those 2 images I took with the deep sky imager pro. http://www.kfetter.com/meade/camera1.jpg http://www.kfetter.com/meade/camera2.jpg I used the following adaptor, to attach the lens to the ccd camera.
