      Good Morning,

I am a returning subscriber of the list after some years of silence.

    > I have just read the new book, Keep Watching the Skies!, historian W.
    Patrick
    > McCray's richly detailed story of Operation Moonwatch. I thoroughly
    enjoyed

    Moonwatch

I was waiting for this book! .. and I have got it immediately via Amazon.

I have collected in my bookshelf most of the vintage ('50s and '60s) book
    related with artificial satellite observing.

When I got hooked by astronomy (1969) probably I heard the last echoes of
Moonwatch and satellite observing, today almost completely neglected in my
country (Italy) by official or amateur organizations - but my interest is
going on, at the moment with a lot of books and binoculars but very few
    observations.
Hope to start some observing campaign soon.

Thank you so much for your review.

    Best Regards
