Last night I observed USA 161 (01-044A) passing around 00:00 UTC. It was quite bright for much of its pass, and delivered a very nice slow mag -1.5 flare high in the sky at 00:00:46 UTC (May 12-13). My camera was open when it flared so I captured a nice flare image again. It can be seen here: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com/2007/05/usa-161-flare-beautiful-evening.html Flares never bore me! :-) - Marco ----- Dr Marco Langbroek - SatTrackCam Leiden, Cospar 4353 Leiden, the Netherlands. 52.15412 N, 4.49081 E (WGS84), +0 m ASL SatTrackCam: http://home.wanadoo.nl/marco.langbroek/satcam.html Station (b)log: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com Atom RSS: http://sattrackcam.blogspot.com/atom.xml e-mail: sattrackcam@wanadoo.nl ----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
